Oh yes... and there were waves to ride.

Solstice Session | Winter 2011

Winter solstice surf in 2010 and in 2009 were polar opposite to this year's - complete with snow, a good little swell, and chilly temps. In contrast, today was warm and sunny with clean lil longboard waves. My hood was off before sunrise. Though the waves were small, I still had a hard time leaving. Always want to stay.

Dawntreading

The week was stacked with pre-work surf sessions and extra-curricular activities.

Monday morning. Post nor'easter, halloween treats.

Tuesday morning skunkrise and disc findings.

Friday morning. Not quite the perfection that people had north, south and east of here but still pretty crankin.

Friday nite/Saturday morn. Come Hell or High Water movie premiere and camping with the best people ever @Grain Surfboards.

Loggin till sundown. The sea hugs. She never leaves.
